Simple yet delicious after-school snacks to lift your child's mood

How do your children feel when they leave school?  Overwhelmed, agitated, or simply tired?

With these calming snacks, you can help them feel better very quickly. By providing specific nutrients, you can support your child's nervous system, calm their mind, and improve their overall mood.

Some children (like my daughter)  don’t eat well at lunchtime and end up leaving school hungry, low on energy, and in a bad mood.

This can make the after-school hours so hard to manage. The right snacks can help stabilise blood sugar, boost mood, and provide steady energy, keeping your child focused and calm.

Sandrine Olmi – Savoir Fayre - Nutritionist – Brand Photos by Claire with the Camera - Brand Photographer Surrey

Meet Sandrine.

"After a rewarding career in food marketing in London, I faced a challenging period of severe digestive issues. With limited help from conventional medicine, I decided to retrain as a Nutritional Therapist to truly understand and address my health struggles.

My journey led me to develop a deep passion for digestive health and hormone balance, which I now focus on helping others achieve naturally. Over time, I’ve expanded my work to support neurodivergent children and their families, helping parents address anxiety, food refusal, and behavioural challenges through personalised nutrition. My daughter happens to be ASD and ADHD so I fully understand the food challenges parents may experience with their children.

I specialise in supporting mums of anxious children, particularly during perimenopause, and I believe in the power of simple, sustainable nutrition strategies to create a calmer home and a happier family.

If you'd like to learn more about how I can help your family or have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at s.olmi@savoirfayre.co.uk.
