Popcorn is a great alternative to crisps. But please, do avoid the microwavable popcorn as it contains undesirable ingredients that are not good for the body. The best way to make it is to either use a popcorn maker (as you won’t need any oil) or you can make it with a little oil in a saucepan on the stove. Here are some topping ideas:

- cinnamon and sugar
- chili powder and lime juice
- everything seasoning
- smoked paprika and salt
- curry powder and cinnamon
- salt and pepper
- BBQ seasoning
